The Sled Hockey Foundation exists to empower athletes and break barriers. As a completely new organization, the foundation was in need of a strong brand and vision to convey their message, both onscreen and on the ice.
We worked with SHF from the start to define the vision and voice of the organization. Through collaboration and a deep understanding of their audience and goals, we were able to design a strong, effective brand identity and marketing strategy to convey their mission.
The Sled Hockey brand now serves as a symbol of empowerment, hope, and leadership in the adaptive sports community with brand activations beyond digital, helping raise awareness and build bonds.
In addition to branding, Wayward was tasked with driving overall marketing strategy and audience growth for The Sled Hockey Foundation.
Over the course of a 4 month marketing campaign, we worked with SHF to overhaul their digital marketing strategy to reach more athletes, donors, sponsors, and fans to leave a lasting impression.
By designing an entirely new content marketing strategy, we were able to double the foundation's audience size, by driving rapid growth at social accounts, implementing email marketing, and increasing website traffic with SEO and content updates. We leveraged our automated marketing insights engine, Rilo to track progress and share results with the foundation in real time.
